Digital in Composites
Other than being a buzzword, "Digital" with an engineering environment relates to a whole range of exciting tools that can enhance both products and processes.
Our Digital in Composites training course showcases how the different tools and techniques can be applied to composite processes as well as products.
- Who is it suitable for?
- What is covered?
- What prior knowledge do I need?
- How long and how much?
- What can I study next?
This course is aimed at multiple technical levels within a company including:
- Advanced Technicians
- Design Engineers
- Manufacturing / Process Engineers
- Operational Managers
- Technical Directors
This course covers:
- The difference between digital and automation
- What data can be captured
- How data can be captured
- Ways of displaying data
- Where digital tools are already used in composites
- Asset Tracking within a factory
- Requirements for conducting a digital transformation
There is no prior knowledge needed for this course. We do recommend that students have a general understanding of composites and processing of composites.
To get the most out of the course, if students know their current facility or products well then the course can be tailored slightly to match those real world examples.
We can deliver this at your facility for £200 per person up to 10 people per group*. We can also deliver this at a local venue near you for a small additional price.
The course is one day (0900 – 1630) with all of it in an interactive classroom setting.
*minimum of 4 people required
While this course has no direct follow on, it pairs perfectly with our Composite Factory course to allow factories to be setup correctly from the outset.
It is also works well with our Design Fundamentals course so that digital elements are designed into the products or processes.
